But I discovered something really cool while participating in this challenge! And that is, if you have a 1¼ inch punch, you can punch 12 circles and they perfectly align on an A2 card front! I'm so excited to know this because it will be perfect for making those difficult masculine cards. All I have to do to make a quick guy card is punch out a few masculine circles, glue them on and pop a sentiment somewhere.
Anyway, for this card I used Stampin' Up!'s Thoughtful Blooms (which came out in the 2020 mini catalog). Another faux pas I made on this card is that, after being so excited about my circles, I realized that I hadn't actually stamped anything! In order to qualify for a this challenge, you have to use a stamp that's older than one year.
So I changed one of the circles to include the 'thank you' sentiment and flowers from the "Thoughtful Blooms" set by Stampin' Up. This set came out in the 2020 Sale-A-Bration catalog. It's really cute, but honestly I've never really noticed the tiny flowers and leaves before.
I also used a punch to make the gold flowers and the dots for the center of those flowers are from Dollar Tree. I also used the SU! set called "Papillon Potpourri" to make the butterfly just below the sentiment.
The patterned papers are a variety from Michaels, Lawn Fawn and Let's Celebrate.
I really enjoyed the challenge over at Retro Rubber and am thankful to them for another fun card!
